Sadly the Transport Manager has decided to relocate out of Auckland so we are looking for someone to fill their boots!
The focus of this role is the metro transport requirements and loading of the freight for the linehaul units. You'll also have a team of dispatchers and operations assistants reporting to you.
We're looking for someone who has hands on road transport experience, who is calm under pressure and has the ability to solve problems on the fly. Strong communication skills come naturally to you, along with sound computer skills and being able to pick up new systems with ease.
It goes without saying that you have a focus on H&S, ensuring that everyone goes home safely at the end of their shift. You can think outside the square and can spot areas for improvement.
You might already be in a similar role, or be ready for a step up in your career. Either way, you have the drive, energy and resilience to make this role your own.
There will be a good handover and you'll be joining a supportive team who all work together to achieve success.
