We are looking for a Transport Manager to lead and coordinate a team of 30 staff. Additionally you'll be responsible for heavy haulage and ensuring that all OD permits are in place. The role also includes load planning, and vehicle & weighbridge compliance.
The ideal person will be a strong communicator, with a mature outlook and be able to lead a diverse workforce. You will have the drive for positive change and continuous improvement. You're honest, straight up and direct; with a collaborative approach and be a team player. Ideally have all classes of licence, including WTR. Someone with both heavy transport and construction experience would be perfect.
