This could suit someone who has come from a hands-on meat background, maybe even a butcher in a previous life, and has moved into trading or sales. Or someone already trading food who enjoys building relationships and making deals.

You’ll be focused on domestic trading to start with, with real scope to move into exports and international markets over time if that interests you.
The role involves:
Buying from suppliers
Selling into retail, foodservice, and manufacturing
Managing the operational side of trading and getting deals across the line
Building your portfolio and growing your network
