Temp for an established shipping line, within a global group who provide, transportation, shipping, customs and supply chain globally. With supportive management in an open plan office. Booking freight, process documentation, manage transshipments from start to finish!

About The Company

Based at Airport Oaks, this business is one of the South Pacific’s leading global logistics providers! Covering air, sea and land transport throughout New Zealand.
You will work within a professional team of 3 customer service officers and report to a knowledgeable Customer Services manager who has been with the company long term.

About the Role

Offering a 2 month temp assignment with an immediate start. You will complete on the job training and induction. You will process freight bookings using EDI Cargowise, manage shipment coordination’s, complete air & sea documentation for dry and perishable freight, answer customer queries and provide quotations by phone and email.

Skills & Experience

You will come from an freight forwarding/Logistics or Shipping background skilled with 2+ years within a customer services role. You’ll be a strong communicator with the ability to think quickly on your feet and problem solve as issues occur.
