We are currently seeking two hands on Warehouse Assistant's to join a successful NZ transport company who are market leaders in their own right. With the company recently having recognised the need for more hands on deck in their warehouse, understandably, they want the BEST!
The business is an Innovative New Zealand based freight logistics solutions provider who prides themselves on delivering outstanding service and cost solutions for freight owners and carriers. They are only continuing to grow, so now would be a great time to get on board with them. If you are someone who wants to progress and develop further overtime this is a company that offers opportunity in many areas, but you'll have to prove your stripes first!
This position includes standard warehousing activities working as part of a team of 5. The position does work on rotating shifts that could easily work in well with a busy family life depending on your situation, not to mention a solid hourly rate depending on experience.
Essentially you will be working 45 hours per week on rostered shifts. As it is a 24 hour operation there are 3 shifts over a 24 hour period. The shifts are all reasonable daytime working hours however there is one nightshift included, but remember this only comes about every few weeks. There will also be a Saturday shift too which will be rostered.
In a nutshell, here are the must haves:
- Experience working in a warehouse and know-how (Preferably at least 1 year's experience)
- The ability to be able to work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, commitment and reliability
