We’re representing a well-established international freight forwarder with a strong reputation for quality service and long-standing client relationships. Their New Zealand team, based near Auckland Airport, is close-knit, collaborative, and led by a manager who genuinely values trust, flexibility, and mutual respect.

They’re now looking for an experienced Customs Broker to join their small but stable team. It’s a role where you’ll be valued for your expertise and work within an environment that prides itself on professionalism without hierarchy.

The opportunity
You’ll take ownership of all aspects of customs and MPI clearances for both air and sea freight, ensuring accuracy and timeliness through CargoWise. You’ll also assist with arranging cartage, so this role will suit someone who enjoys variety and doesn’t mind pitching in where needed.

What you’ll bring
  • Solid experience across customs brokerage and MPI processes
  • Working knowledge of CargoWise
  • A methodical, accurate approach and pride in quality work
  • A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to help across the team
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
