The role: We are seeking an experienced Client services / Key Account Rep
to manage the relationships and portfolio of their Key Clients.
Duties:
- Liaising with clients daily via phone and email
- Receiving and placing overseas orders
- Routing orders, requesting rates and space
- Monitoring imports, customs clearance and deliveries, update clients of any delays.
- Building strong customer relationships, client visits
- Ensuring all milestones are updated in the system for clients to access
- Client reporting
- 5+ years import customer service or key accounts experience specifically in international freight forwarding.
- Has the ability to discuss and negotiate agreeable solutions to customer problems – familiar with challenges associated with providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- System savvy, cargowise preferred.
