About the Role This 14–15 month maternity cover will see you managing planning and logistics for around 10 major customers – including well-known FMCG names. You’ll take customer forecasts, turn them into purchasing plans, and manage orders with international suppliers. You’ll play a key role in stock control, supplier liaison, and ensuring customers receive the right product at the right time.

This is a full-time, office-based role (Mon–Fri, 8.30am–5pm).
 

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with customers to monitor demand and interpret forecasts

  • Raise overseas purchase orders and manage supplier communication

  • Coordinate shipping, stock management and planning within the supply chain

  • Process ex-stock sales orders and customer invoicing

  • Collaborate with the product and sales teams on pricing, tenders and renewals

  • Maintain reporting and documentation across inventory, purchasing and sales

About You
  • Strong background in planning and forecasting 

  • Able to interpret data and translate it into actionable plans

  • Comfortable working with suppliers, freight companies and internal stakeholders

  • Excellent communicator who can think on their feet and problem-solve

  • Intermediate Excel skills essential

  • Background in shipping/logistics is ideal, but open to broader industry experience
