About the Company:
Our client is a well known freight forwarder with a strong presence in New Zealand and around the world. Their leadership team is made up of well known experts in the industry who are supportive, engaging and hands on.
About the Role:
You will be an integral part of a developing team by working directly with product managers, working on procurement and freight rates with both airlines and shipping lines, and compiling estimates for new business to support the sales team.
You will not be limited to sales support. With strong leadership, there is opportunity if you wish to progress to telesales which can then propel you into the Sales Team in a Business Development Manager role.
You will be part of a fun, vibrant culture where supporting each other is encouraged. You will not be micro managed, but instead be inspired to learn, grow and succeed by the Team Leader.
Skills & Experience:
With a background of International Freight you will ideally have 2+ years experience in the industry - however with a "can do / want to learn" attitude you will succeed. EDI Cargowise knowledge is advantageous, but not essential due to the use of in house platforms.
