Reporting to the Executive General Manager, you will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of approximately 150 employees across three sites.
This is a greenfields situation where you will have the autonomy to drive and execute training and safety strategies throughout the business.
Your role will be highly visible, offering you the chance to influence positive outcomes and make a tangible difference.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage safety training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
Foster a culture of safety by promoting awareness and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Collaborate with site managers and employees to ensure a proactive approach to health and safety.
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Investigate incidents and accidents, analyse root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve safety performance.

Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in a Health & Safety management role, preferably in a multi-site environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective health & safety training programs.
