We are searching for an experienced General Manager to join this rapidly growing business. Based in Palmerston North and reporting to the Board of Directors; you'll be tasked with taking this company from good to great.
You'll be pleased to know that they are well-resourced and have robust systems and processes in place; along with a solid IT strategy. To date the growth has been organic, however more recently by acquisition, but always sustainable.
To be successful in this role you'll have:
- Exceptional leadership skills, along with the ability to get results through others. You will have previously led a senior management team across all functions in a business
- Comprehensive financial acumen
- A strategic approach to business
- The drive and energy to take others on the journey of growth and change
- The ability to balance complex and conflicting situations across large teams and multiple sites
- A background in transport and/or logistics
