The company: A successful New Zealand owned road transport business who specialise in all facets of transport, including container cartage, project cargo and working with over dimensional loads.
The role: We are seeking an experienced FCL Dispatcher to manage and coordinate a fleet of 16 trucks and drivers.
Duties include:
- Processing container bookings with the Ports through the VBS system
- Dispatching & planning routes for 16 drivers across Auckland Metro
- Liaising with customers directly regarding deliveries
- Optimisation of fleet and drivers
- Rectifying and responding to any issues regarding deliveries
Skills:
- 2+ years FCL dispatching experience including planning and scheduling container movements.
- The ability to build strong relationships with drivers and customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowlege of TMS Systems
- Problem solving ability
