If you have experience managing multi-shipper export units for a NZ freight forwarder, working to tight vessel cut offs and dealing with the realities of export operations with NZ shipping lines and depots, this will feel familiar.
You will take ownership of ocean shipments and also be involved across airfreight. While experience in both is ideal, there is support available for someone who is confident in oceanfreight and FAKs and looking to build their capability in air.
This is a hands-on operational role with real accountability, not a coordination or support position.
What matters most:
- Proven experience handling consolidated export containers gained within a New Zealand freight forwarder
- Confidence managing FAK cargo end to end, including planning, packing flow and execution
- Solid grounding in oceanfreight, with openness to develop airfreight capability
- Comfort operating with autonomy and responsibility
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset when things do not go to plan
- Strong professional references that speak to reliability and follow-through
