This opportunity sits within the company’s international operations team based near Auckland Airport.

The Role
This position combines export operations with transport coordination within a small, experienced team. The focus is primarily ocean exports with some airfreight exposure, alongside coordinating cartage across both export and import shipments.

The team operates leanly but with well structured processes. Workflows are managed through CargoWise task management, ensuring clear visibility of daily responsibilities and allowing the team to work collaboratively while maintaining individual ownership of shipments.

Key responsibilities:
  • Managing export shipments from booking through to departure
  • Preparing and processing export documentation
  • Coordinating bookings with shipping lines, airlines and co-loaders
  • Monitoring shipment milestones to ensure departures stay on track
  • Coordinating transport movements for export and import deliveries
  • Communicating with customers, transport providers and overseas agents
  • Ensuring compliance across Customs, MPI and international shipping requirements

About you

This role will suit someone who enjoys operational work and takes pride in keeping shipments organised and moving.

You may bring experience in:
  • Freight forwarding exports (air or sea), or
  • Logistics coordination with exposure to freight bookings and documentation
