The Role
Is for a switched on, hard working and conscientious Dispatcher. Ideally from the Courier or other Point to Point service industry.
Must haves:
- Strong communication - able to be clearly understood by phone
- Good written communication
- Experience or knowledge of air freight and LCL
- Skilled in dispatch - in particular with LIVE jobs.
- Fast-paced, think on feet
- Competent at picking up dispatch systems, and previous experience using them a must
- Able to build good relationships with staff, customers and drivers
- Flexible
- NZ Permanent Residency or Citizenship is a must
The nature of this business is fluid. Live jobs coming in all day means that things change constantly, so you must be able to roll with that and make quick, yet good decisions.
