Our client are a global freight forwarder looking for a Customer Service person who calls themselves a star in this area, you will be proactive, dynamic, solution focussed. Your main aim is to make a customer feel special by being attentive, engaged and always be one step ahead!
Representing the company to the customer, you will be the customers direct port of call for any information regarding their shipments in and out of the country. You will know how to multi task, only give problems with solutions and create a strong and trusting relationship with all stakeholders.
The responsibilities within the role will be (not limited to):
- Arranging quotes
- Booking shipments with origin offices
- Updating customers on shipment activities (milestones )
- Working with internal departments to get the shipment delivered as required
