This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven BDM or sales hunter, with freight or service sales experience. Take ownership of the Auckland territory and drive growth in container and warehousing services for this well-known Kiwi freight brand.
 
Job Summary:
 
As BDM responsible for the Auckland region, you will demonstrate a professional and confident approach to developing new business, through following up on leads, conducting sales calls and the generation of new opportunities through your sales activities.
 
You will need to deliver results, but you will be well supported by a collaborative team with serious expertise and operational capacity. The market holds significant opportunities for a go-getter, and this brand is well recognised and will give you cut-through when selling.
 
Working closely with internal teams, you will put together container and warehousing service solutions for your customers. You will create and deliver professional customer proposals at the highest level of presentation.
 
Reporting to General Management level, you will participate in sales strategy, goal setting and marketing initiatives. This role is a good opportunity to show what you can deliver as a sales professional, and to open further doors in your career.

Skills & Experience: 
 
  • Experienced BDM or sales hunter with service sales experience
  • Freight forwarding, road transport or courier experience is highly desirable
  • Outstanding relationship building skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Driven to exceed targets and KPIs
  • Positive attitude, resilient with a strong sense of teamwork
  • Enjoys negotiating and closing deals
