This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales hunter with or without freight experience, to join a well-known and long established Kiwi express freight brand. Take ownership of the Auckland territory and drive sales growth.
 
Job Summary:


As a BDM, you will drive growth across the Auckland market, in container transport and devanning services through the hunting and development of new business. You will be focused on solution selling to freight forwarders and importer/exporters.

The company has capacity for immediate growth, and you will be backed by some serious operational firepower and expertise, allowing you to focus on building your pipeline. With a pre-determined hit-list of customers and a deep database of existing customers to cross sell container services into, opportunity abounds.

Reporting to the General Manager – Air and Ocean Containers, this role is a serious opportunity to show what you can achieve and to open doors for your career.

Skills & Experience: 
 
  • Experienced BDM or sales hunter with proven track record
  • Freight forwarding, road transport or courier experience is highly desirable
  • Outstanding relationship building skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Driven to exceed targets and KPIs
  • Positive attitude, resilient with a strong sense of teamwork
  • Enjoys negotiating and closing deals
