About the Company:
A large global freight forwarding business that has a great reputation for their excellent service offering across the entire supply chain.

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced 3PL Operations Manager to manage and develop a 3PL distribution centre, achieving all key service levels to customers whilst ensuring efficiencies and costs are controlled within the agreed budget.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage 3PL relationships, performance, service level agreements, KPI's and costs and work on improvements.
  • Managing a small warehouse team
  • Assist in the management of clients quotation, processing, inventory control, inbound scheduling, order processing, packing and dispatch
  • Assist in the management of budgets and forecasts
  • Accountability for Profit & Loss by branch and client
  • Participate and lead the HSE Committee
  • Facilitate regular toolbox meetings

Skills & experience:
  • 3PL operations management with strong people skills
  • Experience managing a P&L, and budgets
  • Sound planning and analytical skills
  • Proficient in project management with a commercial focus
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Hands on leader
