You’ll be joining a business that is continuing to evolve positively under experienced operational leadership focused on strengthening communication, team culture and overall operational standards.

Working alongside an experienced dispatch team, this role is central to the daily coordination of crane trucks, flat decks, transporters and drivers across a fast-paced specialised transport operation.  You’ll be supported by an experienced and highly approachable Dispatch Lead who understands the realities of transport operations and leads in a practical, team-first way.

This is not a corporate desk job. It’s a busy operational environment that will suit someone practical, resilient and confident managing moving parts throughout the day.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Coordinating daily fleet movements and job allocation
  • Managing driver communication and operational support
  • Monitoring schedules and responding to operational changes
  • Liaising with customers regarding timings, delays and site requirements
  • Coordinating subcontractors where required
  • Supporting compliance, safety and operational documentation
  • Working closely with workshop and operations teams
What we’re looking for:
  • Previous transport dispatch, fleet coordination or logistics experience
  • Experience within crane trucks, HIAB, heavy haulage or specialised transport environments
  • Ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good administration and systems capability
  • Practical, team-focused approach
This role will suit someone who enjoys the operational side of transport, communicates well with drivers and customers and can build credibility within a traditional transport environment.
