We're recruiting for a Merchandising Support Officer to join a well-established business operating within the agricultural sector.
This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same.
You'll be supporting customer orders, inventory management, contract administration and reconciliations, while acting as a key point of contact for customers across New Zealand.
This role would suit someone who enjoys detail-oriented work but doesn't want to spend all day hidden behind a spreadsheet.
What you'll be doing:
Processing customer orders received by phone, email and online systems
Entering and maintaining accurate contract and inventory information
Completing stock and inventory reconciliations
Investigating and resolving discrepancies
Managing spreadsheets and reporting
Responding to customer enquiries and providing solutions
Working closely with internal teams, customers and service providers
Supporting the wider merchandising team with administration and coordination
What we're looking for:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Confidence using Excel and business systems
Excellent communication skills and a friendly phone manner
Ability to build rapport with customers
Strong organisational and time management skills
A proactive, can-do attitude
Experience within agriculture is not essential.
We're open to candidates from customer service, logistics, freight forwarding, inventory control, administration, sales support, finance administration or similar backgrounds.
