This is a newly created role supporting the North Island Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, stepping in to take ownership of key coordination and admin across a high-volume bulk logistics environment.
You’ll be across everything from vessel movements through to freight coordination and stock accuracy. It’s varied, fast-paced, and plays a direct role in keeping product flowing and customers supplied.
What’s involved:
Supporting vessel planning and handling all pre and post-vessel admin
Coordinating freight movements and working with multiple transport providers
Managing and updating freight rates across a live matrix
Daily stock reconciliation and working closely with traders on forecasts
Maintaining system accuracy (SIMS and related systems)
Liaising with ports, stevedores, transporters and internal teams
What you’ll bring:
Solid experience in a logistics, supply chain or operations support role
Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data and reporting
Exposure to import/export, shipping, or transport environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep things on track
Confident communication style and able to deal with a range of stakeholders
Experience in bulk logistics, port operations, forestry exports or agri will put you ahead, but not essential.
