About the Role
SHIFT WORK - HOURS: 2:30pm – 11:00pm, Monday – Friday, some weekend work in peak seasons but pay time & half for this.
The vacancy is for a Freight Handler to be based in a warehouse environment, and there will be lifting and moving of freight involved, up to 25Kg, so need to be physically fit and strong.
Duties include:
- Correctly classifying, labelling & packaging Dangerous Goods for road transport Air transport may also be required but only after once full IATA Training has been completed.
- *Loading ULD (Unit load devices) for vehicle transport
- *Preparing manifests for drivers.
- *Provide technical Dangerous Goods advice for customer within a courier environment.
- Training will be given.
