Team Recruitment are searching for a qualified, experienced forklift driver to join a reputable machinery training company who are based in Henderson, West Auckland. This company offers students work site training for forklifts, dangerous goods, elevated work platforms, wheels tracks and rollers. This is the opportunity to upskill and take the next step in training others using your license and experience!
The role:
You will be trained in a full induction course, and must have excellent English and communication, as well as not being afraid to speak and demonstrate to small crowds. A strong work ethic is a MUST as there are HUGE career opportunities ahead!
- Required to mentor and teach students on correct ways operating a forklift, health and safety standards and creating and working within a safe environment.
- You will work a roster of 1 full day and 1 half day on a Saturday per 4 week cycle, in return you will receive a 3 day weekend every fortnight ( Standard 45 hours per week)
About you:
Previous experience, working and operating a forklift in a work place environment is essential!
- Must be outgoing and confident speaking to small crowds
- Strong English and communication skills
- Open and transparent attitude
- 2+ years' operating a forklift with a valid and current forklift license
- Warehouse experience is a bonus
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Reliable and honest work ethic
