About the Company:  A well established NZ owned International Freight Forwarding business that has been successful in the industry for over forty years.

About the Role: We are seeking an intermediate to senior customer services representative to manage a portfolio of import air and seafreight clients.

Duties include:
  • Providing quotes to a portfolio of clients
  • Sourcing rates from shipping lines, co-loaders and agents
  • Placing overseas orders, confirm routing and booking details
  • Liaising with agents regarding bookings and shipping instructions.
  • Liaising with clients via phone and email
  • Provide status reports to clients as requested
  • Coordinate operations, customs clearance and cartage     with internal departments.
Skills:
  • 3+ years customer service, specifically in international freight forwarding.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Cargowise experience preferred but not essential
