The Role
 
An opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Assistant to join our client and contribute to ensuring the company's compliance with all laws and regulations, through maintaining and augmenting the company's Quality Systems.
 
Duties include:
 
  • Checking product Certificates of Analysis for shipments
  • Assisting with audits of Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety systems
  • Monthly H&S inspections
  • Issuing new or revised procedures
  • Updating and sending Safety Data Sheets to customers and stakeholders
  • Liaising with suppliers and updating and maintaining specifications and technical information
  • Assisting with customer enquiries and requests for documentation
  • Training of staff in SH&E issues
 
Skills and Experience
 
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate, or someone early on in their career, ideally with a tertiary qualification in one of the following areas: Science, health science, food safety and technology or health and safety or environmental regulation.
