The Company
Is a NZ-owned family business, who's product is used for both transporting and storage. Being one of the main players in the arena they are experiencing a new growth phase and are looking to expand their sales team in Auckland. They are currently based in Newmarket with a view of moving offices to Wiri in the future.
The role
Requires someone who is experienced at taking requests from both current and new client opportunities and ensuring they are turned into profitable sales. There will be times where you are the only one in the office so you will need to be self- motivated with a desire to win. This is not for the faint-hearted; it is very busy and varied role, with plenty of interaction with people throughout the day.
Must haves:
- Proven sales experience
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to negotiate through to closing the deal successfully
- Ability to self-manage and a proactive approach
- A high level of honesty and personal integrity
- Flexible - may need to jump into a company car and visit client as the need arises
- Multi tasking ability - taking calls, processing orders, dealing with queries, putting out fires
- Flexible work style - not a clock watcher
